SVS Ultra Evo

Experience impressive sound dynamics and clarity with the Ultra Evolution Tower 3-Way Floor-Standing Speaker in piano gloss black from SVS. The Ultra Evolution Tower is a 3-way speaker consisting of seven total drivers in a time-aligned, rear-ported, bass-reflex cabinet. The design follows the flagship Ultra Evolution Pinnacle and Titan series to deliver a similarly impressive performance in the smallest cabinet of the lineup.

The Tower includes a 1″ Diamond Coated Tweeter with Organic Cell Lattice Diffuser for clear highs and smooth off-axis response, two 4.5″ glass fiber composite midrange drivers to render stunning dynamics with a broad soundstage, and four 5.25″ glass fiber woofers in a Force Balanced array to deliver deep, potent, and accurate bass. The cabinet’s chamfered front baffle and time-aligned, flush-mounted drivers reduce edge diffraction and improve off-axis high-frequency response. Adjustable elastomer feet and metal spikes are provided for level placement on any surface.

Acoustically Centered Time Alignment Cabinet Architecture
A curved front baffle aligns all drivers on a vertical plane ensuring sound from each driver reaches your ears at the exact same instant. It is able to maximize phase coherence with pinpoint accuracy and imaging. Midrange drivers and woofers are positioned above and below the tweeter resulting in improved linearity and directionality throughout the crossover frequencies, and a more accurate soundstage.
Diamond Coated Aluminum Dome Tweeter
Through a process called Vapor Deposition, a layer of diamond carbon is applied to the aluminum dome tweeter to vastly improve rigidity and acoustic properties. This breakthrough in material science raises the frequency response well beyond the limits of human hearing resulting in effortless, airy, and clear highs with no measurable distortion. The diamond coating also pushes low frequency extension of the tweeter deeper for more seamless blending with the midrange. An organic cell lattice tweeter diffuser protects the dome and employs semi-random patterns derived from organic cell structures to improve off-axis response and maximize the listening sweet spot.
Quad 5.25″ Glass Fiber Woofers in Force-Balanced Array
Dual opposing 5.25″ woofers on the top and bottom of the cabinet render effortless low frequency response while addressing room modes with deep, authoritative bass evenly spread throughout the listening area. Mechanical energy from each front-firing woofer is equaled inside the cabinet by the rear-firing woofer, creating a net-zero vibration force to the cabinet and other components, and eliminating mechanical coloration for pure, accurate low frequencies at any playback level.
Attention to Detail
Separate, acoustically tuned internal chambers for the woofers and midrange drivers optimize separation and eliminate any potential for cabinet resonances. An integrated 3-Way crossover with premium components seamlessly blends driver output, providing clarity in musical details. Precision-cast aluminum-alloy baskets ensure precise alignment of critical components and maximize thermal dissipation.
