Go beyond TV and movies when you add the Bar 500 590W 5.1-Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar System from JBL to your living room. As a replacement for your thin, built-in TV speakers, the Bar 500 delivers 590W of power and chest-thumping bass through seven integrated drivers and a dedicated wireless 10″ subwoofer. As a home theater solution, the Bar 500 uses Multibeam and Dolby Atmos technology to deliver immersive 3D surround sound for your movies and TV.

Audio playback can be handled in a variety of ways. Dual-band Wi-Fi offers support for AirPlay, Alexa Multi-Room Music (MRM), and Chromecast built-in, letting you stream from hundreds of services for music, podcasts, and internet radio. You can also choose to stream from a mobile device via Bluetooth, or plug in an (optional) USB drive for MP3 playback.

Clear Dialogue with PureVoice
With the Bar 500, you can leave the subtitles off as JBL’s PureVoice technology uses a unique algorithm to enhance vocal clarity, so you don’t miss a word.
HDMI eARC with 4K Dolby Vision Passthrough
Setting up the Bar 500 with your system is simplified through the single, included HDMI cable when using HDMI eARC. The Bar 500 supports HDMI eARC and 4K video passthrough with HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatibility for improved contrast.
Play Audio with Your Voice
When paired with compatible digital-assistant-enabled smart speakers, the Bar 500 will let you use either Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to play music using a simple voice command.
JBL One App
Download the JBL One app to your compatible mobile device to remotely manage the Bar 500 and other compatible JBL speakers. You can use the app to easily set up the Bar 500, customize its EQ, personalize settings, and browse integrated music services.
Custom Sound Calibration
The Bar 500’s integrated sound calibration feature can adjust the Bar 500’s output to match the specific design of your room, optimizing the quality of audio playback and surround sound.
