Enjoy 4K and HDR multimedia playback and near-4K upscaling of older media on your compatible display with the Sony UBP-X1100ES HDR 4K UHD Upscaling Blu-ray Disc Player. It supports high-resolution audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD plus the object-based audio formats Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, as well as HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG HDR video formats. The UBP-X1100ES features two HDMI outputs, one of which is dedicated to audio.
This Blu-ray Disc player has Wi-Fi and an Ethernet port built-in to allow you to stream multimedia content from your home network. The front USB port also provides for the playback of your digitally stored media. You can connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones for private listening, or Bluetooth speakers to move your audio out of the main listening area.

DSEE HX Upscaling
This feature upscales the frequency and dynamic range of your MP3s and other compressed music, including CDs, to near-high-resolution quality.
Various Connectivity Options
A variety of connection options are available for custom installations, including IP control over Cat 5 or Wi-Fi networks, RS-232C two-way control, and an IR input. A web browser interface is also offered, along with support for ihiji4, a cloud-based network solution used by some custom installers for remote maintenance.

Hi-Res Audio provides higher audio quality than MP3s and CDs, letting you hear more detail in your media.
HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG Provide More Detail
HDR signals can contain up to 100x the brightness of non-HDR content to reveal more details from compatible content. Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) video can play as HDR on an HDR-compatible display, or as a standard dynamic range video on a display that’s not HDR-compatible.
BT.2020 Support
Support for the BT.2020 color space means access to a wide range of colors, enabling more saturated and realistic color with compatible content.
HDR-SDR Conversion
Enjoy 4K HDR movies on non-HDR TVs with additional shadow and highlight detail than SDR (standard dynamic range). The HDR-SDR conversion feature is designed to intelligently scale the wide brightness range of HDR into an SDR image for enhanced SDR image quality.
Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Support
Dolby Atmos surround sound technology dispenses with channel-based coding in favor of more advanced object-based coding, giving the sound designer the ability to precisely place sounds anywhere in the 3-dimensional space. DTS:X is designed to simulate 3D sound from your existing speaker setup.
Rigid Design
The frame-and-beam chassis is designed to provide a rigid structure to help eliminate micro-vibrations. It also provides electrical shielding for reduced interference.
Heat Sink
The internal heat sink is designed to keep your discs and the chassis of the UBP-X1100ES cool to extend viewing hours.
Play Nearly Anything
The UBP-X1100ES can play more than just 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. You can watch, listen to, and stream almost anything you like, including most HD video, High-Resolution Audio formats, SACDs, and a variety of streaming services. Hi-Res Audio is supported up to 24-bit audio, AAC and WAV files, DSD 11.2 MHz, and more.

To accommodate multiple viewers or listeners, audio can be sent over Bluetooth and HDMI simultaneously, so wireless headphones or speakers can be used while others listen through the main audio system.
LDAC
LDAC is designed to transmit 3x the data of standard Bluetooth for augmented sound quality.
