Philips Wireless Dimmer Switch Overview

Control your Hue lights from anywhere in your house using the white Hue Wireless Dimmer Switch (2nd Generation) from Philips. This device can be mounted on a wall using the included wall plate, enabling you to use the controller like a conventional light switch. Thanks to the switch’s control unit being magnetic, it can be removed from the plate, enabling you to use the dimmer switch as a remote control. This unit can last up to 50,000 clicks. The included battery has a 2-year lifespan.

This dimmer switch uses the ZigBee Light Link protocol for wireless connection without requiring an internet connection or a network hub/router. When connected to the Hue Bridge (available separately), you’ll be able to control more than ten lights per switch. In addition, you’ll be able to control your lights with your iOS or Android mobile device via the Hue app.
