Power up your gaming and entertainment experiences with fast network speeds using the ASUS RT-AX86U AX5700 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Gaming Router. Designed specifically for online gamers and enthusiasts, the dual-band RT-AX86U supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology to deliver up to 5700 Mb/s total throughput over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies to compatible devices. It has three powerful external antennas and one internal antenna to provide wireless coverage to large homes. Wireless coverage can be extended by adding ASUS AiMesh-compatible routers to the network. This router also includes four Gigabit Ethernet ports with a dedicated gaming port that automatically prioritizes traffic to help ensure a fast and smooth experience. Use the ASUS mobile app to configure the router with guest network options, mobile gaming device prioritization, and more. Additionally, the RT-AX86U has a 2.5 Gigabit port and supports link aggregation to take full advantage of 2 Gb/s internet connections. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are available, which allow you to connect devices such as external storage drives to share throughout the network.

High Speed Network

The ASUS RT-AX86U supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi delivers up to 5700 Mb/s throughput across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, giving you the bandwidth and large wireless coverage to game, watch streaming video, broadcast live streams, and more. Enabling Dynamic Frequency Detection unlocks 15 of the least congested channels on the 5 GHz band, providing you with even more bandwidth.

Dedicated Gaming

Devices that are connected to the dedicated Gigabit Ethernet gaming port are automatically given network priority, helping to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience. Enabling Mobile Game Mode on the ASUS Router app helps to minimize lag and latency for connected mobile gaming devices.

Link Aggregation

The RT-AX86U can take full advantage of up to 2 Gb/s internet bandwidth by connecting two separate Gigabit services to the WAN port and a Gigabit Ethernet port. This bandwidth can be shared across connected wireless devices or through the 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port. For additional versatility, the 2.5 Gigabit port can be used for WAN or LAN connections.
